Results of our 2010 Year End Patient Survey

Dr. Lisa Breslauer and the staff at the Laser + Skin Institute would like to thank you for taking part in our annual year end patient survey! As always, your participation was greatly appreciated, and the results are posted below. We've also included more comments this year, as we received so many from our patients! (Survey specs are listed at the bottom of the page)

To summarize 2010 based on the feedback, we continue to do many things that our patients truly appreciate, including
interactions with the Doctor, the PA, our Spa services, the staff, and our new office atmosphere. Remember, you can always take a patient survey on our site at any point during the year, or you can 'like' our Facebook page and offer suggestions there as well.

What we learned from our 2009 survey last year, was that our biggest area of concern was the time that our patients spent in the waiting room b
efore being taken back to an exam room. We've put extra resources in this area, and we are very proud to say that we have made great progress in 2010! As you will see in the survey results listed below, 92.4% of respondants were either 'extremely satisfied' or 'satisfied' with their wait time to see their provider of services.

This feedback is very valuable to us, as we use it to continually monitor our patients experiences in our office. For providing your feedback, we thank you.

Patient Response: "I think everyone in the office is AMAZING! I never feel rushed and every service I have had I have been incedibly pleased with the results."

Patient Response: "I love that Dr. B speaks with me and not at me. She provides input about what she sees and asks for my feedback in the decision making process."

Patient Response: "Staff and Dr. B are very thorough and attentive...you feel as full attention is given directly to you and I do not feel rushed."

Patient Response: "The politeness of your staff. The postiive attitude of your staff and the time that is spent with you with the Dr., that is very important."

Patient Response: "I like that any procedure being performed is explained thoroughly before and even during the procedure."

Patient Response: "this was my first visit to a dermatologist and it was a very comfortable environment. everyone was very nice and welcoming."

Patient Response: "Dr. Breslauer always has a smile and takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer ALL of my questions. I appreciate this more than words can say."

Patient Response: "Dr. B.'s medical skills and bedside manner are excellent. She leads by example and, as a result, her staff exhibits the same qualities making a patient's visit a positive experience."

Patient Response: "Dr. Breslauer is the best dermatologist I have ever been seen by. She is very thorough during exams, and you get the feeling that she really cares about you as a patient. I would refer anyone looking for a dermatologist to her."

Survey Statistics at a glance
The 2010 Patient Survey was delivered to 1,875 people on December 29, 2010 at 1:43pm

The email had an open rate of almost 33% (industry avg is 12.6%)

35.4% of the recipients who opened the email, completed the survey.

More than 50% of the recipients who took the survey, also submitted comments.
