Why did you start the business? I started my own business because I wanted to be able to bring the highest level of customer care to the practice of medicine. I always want my patients to feel important, and having my own practice allows me to really provide the level of service that I would want from my own physician.

If you could do it again, what would you do differently? I would make sure that I had the staff in place to handle the growth before having the need for them. You have to be able to anticipate the changes as they arrive.

What's the best business advice your parents gave? Aim high, and always do the very best that you can each and every day.

What personality trait helps you the most? Perseverance. It is the one trait that I feel is the difference maker from those who talk about succeeding, and those who actually do.

What's the hardest part of the job? Dealing with the complexities of the insurance industry.

The easiest? Talking to and really listening to my patients is the easiest. It is also the best part of my job.

What's your least expensive product or service? Sunscreen (and it's the most important!)

The most expensive? Laser resurfacing is the most expensive, but patients who choose these treatments, and realize their benefits, really see the value in them.
